Among the major life insurance and retirement savings companies in the United States, AXA Equitable Life expands their Charlotte presence to become the firm’s largest location.
Residing within the upscale 200-acre, two million-SF campus of Innovation Park, the site was extensively redeveloped into AXA’s flagship home. Adding more than 1,000 jobs, the expansion doubled their employee roster and boosted the local economy.
Fiserv, one of the nation’s leading financial services technology firms, consolidates its Atlanta-area operations in this stunning state-of-the-art campus. Amazingly completed in a mere six months, the 375,000-SF project includes a full renovation of two existing six-floor buildings, joined by a progressive, square shaped geometrical lobby that reflects Fiserv’s “Proof Point” brand.
The 8,000-SF glass geometric lobby uniquely defines the campus and connects the existing buildings. It includes a four-story grand entrance lobby utilizing stone flooring, structural glazing, and wall accents with a reception desk.
Elevated bridges are constructed on each level of the lobby to allow connectivity between the two primary office buildings and all six floors. The fifth floor of the lobby features a client business center with a grand presentation and auditorium space available for Fiserv’s clients.
The handsomely appointed Lexus facility provides sales and service to the Columbia market. The structure overlooks I-77 and includes a showroom, service area with parts storage, 23 service bays, six detail bays and a car wash area.
The interior features dark wood paneling, classic stone floors, with accents of glass and aluminum. The 30-acre development requires mass grading, with ornate landscape and hardscape throughout the site. Choate has a Design-Assist role with JHS Architecture for this project.
